Elektrosol is a Spanish company devoted to solar energy. The headquarters are located in Castellon, by the Mediterranean coast, and we have a branch in Barcelona . The company was created in 2004 in response to the increasing solar energy market in Spain . Elektrosol is a young and dynamic company. Our staff has extensive knowledge and much experience in the solar energy business from this and previous employment. We specialise in supplying, designing, project developing, installing and maintaining solar systems, from small scale domestic to large scale industrial installations

One of our main business sectors is the photovoltaic grid-connected system, or solar energy farm, which sells the electricity produced to the national grid companies. Presently, with the new Legislation that was introduced in 2004 (R.D. 426/2004), the national grid companies will purchase this energy at 0,4404 €/KWh for the next 25 years.

Spain has very high levels of solar radiation and is one of the countries in Europe with the most hours of sun per year. For example, in southern Germany there are about 1000 kWh/m2 of sun per year while in the south of Spain there are more than 1700 kWh/m2.

These two factors combined, the price per KWh and the solar conditions, make Spain one of the countries with the best returns in the world for grid-connected PV system installations.

The excellent solar market conditions combined with our commitment and enthusiasm have led to Elektrosol having secured a substantial workload since its inauguration. We have installed several small scale solar systems and are in the process of negotiating the installation of some large photovoltaic systems. The largest of these so far are 2 x 1,8MW systems; the contracts have been signed with the client and we have the official confirmation of grid access, the land procurement agreement, and permissions to go ahead with the solar modules and equipment installation.

Elektrosol is looking for companies or partners from Spain or Overseas, which would be interested in investing or developing photovoltaic grid-connected systems.

We provide an all-inclusive service, from supplying the solar modules and materials, project development, system design and installation, to maintenance and obtaining the relevant permissions. We are also happy if the client would prefer to supply the solar equipment or any of the other services.

Elektrosol has land available in the Southern region of Spain , Andalucia, which has one of the highest levels of solar radiation in Europe . According to Ministerio de Fomento (Ministry of Development), this terrain is located in the area of maximum global solar radiation. The land has grid connection access for large installations (up to 1,9MW).
